Police Football Club registered its first win of the 2020/2021 season after a 3-1 win on the road against league newbies MYDA FC at the King George IV Memorial Stadium in Tororo District.

Ben Ocen bagged a brace for the Cops in the 1st and the 69th minutes thanks to left footed winger Ruben Kimera’s well delivered crosses.

Our new signing, left back Eric Senjobe scored the other goal in the 26th minutes with a reflex header after a well laid free kick from defender- another of our new recruits, Mahmoud Hassan.

MYDA FC’s lone goal came in the 36th minute courtesy of striker Ibra Nsimbe.

In the post match interview, Police tactician Abdullah Mubiru could not hide his excitement following the victory.

“It was a good win and a great result to celebrate. We thank the Almighty for the results, and thank our players too for the show they have put up.

We celebrate the victory, but the focus now must be our next game.”
