Kitara FC Vs Police FC

Kavumba Recreation Center |

Uganda Premier League debutants Airtel Kitara FC started life in the league with a positive result having come from behind to draw 1-1 with Kyetume FC at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru there by earning themselves a point.

In their second game however, it didn’t go down well for them as they shipped in five goals against UPDF in what was their first home game in top flight.

They head into tomorrow’s game hoping for another positive result, but the Cops are buzzing for victory.

“We don’t expect an easy game against Kitara tomorrow, but we are positive and motivated. Our last win in our last outing should be a big motivation for us to get the maximum points tomorrow.”

Assistant Captain Denis Rukundo

Police were in dominant form against MYDA in Tororo on Tuesday. It was a case of dejavour for Ben Ocen who scored the fastest goal of the season thus far inside two minute

The Cops will fancy their chances against Kitara although the Gaffer, Abdallah Mubiru believes they will present a completely different challenge.

“Tomorrow we are facing a completely different challenge to the one we had on Tuesday, but we are prepared for the game. The boys are in good shape.

“It’s unfortunate we are going to miss some of our players, but I believe in the available guys.”

Duncan Seninde, Timothy Oyamo, Sylvester Semakula and Musa Matovu are all sick therefore will miss the trip to Kavumba so will our captain Tony Mawejje who’s battling a sprained ankle.
