Police have kick-started their season strongly with two emphatic victories and a draw in the three games played thus far.
Last weekend’s 5-0 victory over Airtel Kitara means we have won 3 games and lost just once in our last five matches in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League with two of those wins coming on our travels.
Busoga United meanwhile, have started their season with two loses, their latest draw at home against Kyetume over the weekend and conceding seven goals in that period.

The Cops have met Busoga United seven times. The cops have come out victors in three of those meetings. Busoga United edging us with four wins. Each side has won its home games.
Our last win at home in this clash came on the 30/12/2018. That game was decided with four minutes of regulation time left on the clock. Ashraf Mugume and Johnson Odong were the men on the score sheet that day as we won the game 3-2, the latter bagging a brace.

The Cops head into this encounter prepared that’s according to our tactician, Abdalla Mubiru.

The team is still without captain Tony Mawejje who is nursing an ankle sprain. Frank Tumwesigye, Musa Matovu, Dancun Ssseninde and Johnson Odongo are also still out due to injuries.
The rest of the squad is available for selection.
Denis Rukundo, Mawejje’s deputy is wary of our opponent, but is hopeful of victory.
