The Cops maintained a second position in the Uganda Premier league with 19 points after a gorgeous 3-1 win over The Caterpillars.

The Cops saw their first goal from a penalty after a Caterpillars defender held the ball that made the referee award a foul. JOHNSON Odongo took it and he never disappointed the Cops in the 25th minute.

The Caterpillars equalied in the 51st minute from Emmanuel Okech before The Cops adding a second goal from Eric Ssenjobe in the 76th minute.

Johnson Odongo sealed the day with a brace in the 84th minute with an assist from Brian Muruuli bagging three points for the Cops.

Abdallah Mubiru appreciated the performance displayed his boys and he was pleased with the results.
“I thank my players for the good fight they displayed. It wasn’t an easy game. The opponents were tough and tricky which we didn’t expect.” He said.
Mubiru added that it was a surprise to his team but he was happy with the way his team reacted.
“I’m very happy with the way my players reacted towards the attitude of our opponents.”
